I enjoy working with colleagues with different perspectives or competency profiles, as it is a great opportunity to learn from each other to get higher quality results in projects.

Tell us about yourself

My name is Tacha Zi and I am from Montana, USA. I moved to Umeå, Sweden to pursue a PhD in molecular biology and have been living in Sweden ever since. For the past 13 years I have lived in Stockholm – time flies when you are having fun! I enjoy spending time with my family and being out in the sunshine enjoying nature. Running marathons and other long distance races is something I try to do as much as possible – especially when it can be combined with an interesting travel destination.

Tell us about your background

My work background comes from my passion to develop and implement optimal strategies for the production, control and release of quality products for the treatment of human diseases. I am driven to proactively identify areas for improvement, develop strategies to address these and lead cross-functional teams in creating better solutions and achieving results. I am a structured problem solver who thrives in a dynamic work environment where cross-functional teams work together to improve the efficiency and overall performance of processes (e.g. manufacturing, QC or release).

What do you do on your current project?

My role in my current project is as part of a team of competent and committed colleagues focused on establishing a quality control validation process. I am working on building processes and tools that are practical and functional and that can generate the highest quality results.

Why did you choose the consulting role at agap2?

I enjoy working with colleagues with different perspectives or competency profiles, as it is a great opportunity to learn from each other to get higher quality results in projects. I believe that the knowledge, experience and skills I have gained in my various roles in Life Science and GMP manufacturing can be useful in the role of Life Science consultant at agap2. I am very grateful for the opportunities I have had so far, to work in different and dynamic environments that have strengthened my professional and personal development. I see my role as a Life Science consultant at agap2 as an exciting next step with the chance to meet many competent and committed colleagues!
