New certification: ISO 19443

What is ISO 19443?
Published in July 2018, ISO 19443 was developed in response to concerns raised in the Folz report on the Flamanville EPR. The standard aims to strengthen quality management requirements for subcontractors and suppliers of products and services critical to nuclear safety (IPSN). Combining the same principles as ISO 9001 with additional specifications specific to the nuclear sector, it guarantees a strict framework for ensuring quality in this sensitive area.
